Hello everyone!

I’m sorry for the delayed but i finally have time to update my 3rd day in Bangkok!

If you read my last post, you would know that Resty has already arrived in Bangkok that means we are complete so we can begin our adventure! Our first destination was Wat Pho or the temple of the Reclining Buddha. We took the Chao Praya Tour Boat from Sathorn Pier the cost is 40baht for one way.

The ride took around 15 to 20 minutes because Wat Pho’s pier or Tha Thien Pier is on number 8 while Sathorn Pier is number 0 haha. There is a tour guide on the boat who explains the places that we passed by such as China Town, India Town, several temples which i couldn’t remember hahaha. A little information, if you seat by the window, you might want to keep your belongings like camera or cell phone because if the boat is speeding, you might get the splash from the water ๐Ÿ˜‚ i know because i experienced this.

We arrived at Wat Pho and the weather is super hot! I wore a full covered outfit because if you want to enter the Reclining Buddha temple you must wear appropriate clothes (they provide a free “kimono” if you don’t wear appropriate outfit so don’t worry but you must return it on the exit door).

We didn’t stay long at Wat Pho because of the hot weather BUT the moment we want to left Wat Pho, it was raining hard! ๐Ÿ˜ญ we were “trapped” inside the temple for about 30 minutes but then we thought that if we wait until the rain stop it will be too long so we ran through the rain to go to the pier and go back to Sathorn Pier haha.

Our next destination is Platinum Fashion Mall!! We took the skytrain from Saphan Taksin station to Chidlom station. The walk from Chidlom station to Platinum is soooo far! I think it is nearer to get off at Siam station rather than Chidlom. We even need to walked through Zen Department Store, Central World, Isetan and another looong bridge.

But we finally arrived at Platinum! Too bad i don’t have any pictures in there ๐Ÿ˜ญ but the mall is big with many small stores that sell clothes. Just like its name, Platinum Fashion Mall mainly focusing on selling outfits. The more you buy, the cheaper price you get that is why many online shops buy their products from here and you will find many people carry big luggages or boxes in here.

If you are not gonna buy many clothes or not good at bargaining like me, there are also stores that already put the prices. You can find many stores that sell everything for 200baht/pc! To be honest i didn’t buy many stuffs in there only 1 top (200baht), 1 cullote pants (200baht), 1 long dress (200 baht) and 3 chockers (90 baht/pc). I guess it was because we already tired from Wat Pho and walked so far from the station and the mall is crowded too so we didn’t buy many things. Since we already in the area, we decided to go to Pratunam Market. Again, the walk from Platinum to Pratunam is far. And i don’t know maybe we went to the wrong place or we came at the wrong time but Pratunam was not like i imagined before, not that interesting so we only there for a while and then we took a taxi to go back to our hotel (there is no way we walked to the skytrain station ) ๐Ÿ˜‚

Before we go back, we had dinner near our hotel. It was a street food and i ordered spicy seafood salad. Seriously i only ordered this just to know the taste but i totally fell in love with this! It was fresh, spicy, and savory at the same time. If you like vegetables with strong scent and flavour you’re gonna like this. For drink of course i had to buy thai tea ๐Ÿ˜‰

After a long day, long walking, shopping and fill our tummy, we finally go back to our room and rest ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeay! That is my 3rd day in Bangkok and tomorrow is my 4th day i have a story that i already prepare so stay tunes! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
