BANGKOK TRIP 2016 – DAY 2

Continue from my previous post, this post will be about my 2nd day in Bangkok. Me and my friends planned to go to Siam today before we picked up Resty at Don Mueang Airport this afternoon.

In the morning, we ate breakfast at our hotel and the room price include breakfast. The food consist of a bowl of fried rice, slices of fruits and a drink (you can choose juice or hot tea). The fried rice is really good! The portion is just right for our morning tummy, not too full. After breakfast we are leaving for Siam.

We took the BTS from Saphan Taksin station (1 minute walking from the hotel) and the cost to Siam station is 34 baht.

The first place we went after we arrived in Siam is Watsons. Watsons in Thailand is different from Watsons in Indonesia. The Watsons is big (2 floors), it has more products from many brands and the price is cheaper than Indonesian Watsons. I was mesmerized by the famous Sailor Moon makeup but i didn’t buy it because it’s kinda expensive haha i only got 2 things from Watsons which are mini contact lens solution and a hair dye (buy 1 get 1 free) because i still need to go to EveandBoy and Beautrium later.

After that we went to EveandBoy. Too bad i didn’t take pictures in there because the store is quite packed and i was too focused on buying makeups ๐Ÿ˜‚ EveandBoy is heaven, if Myeongdong is my heaven in Korea then EveandBoy is my Thai’s heaven ๐Ÿ˜‚ You can find variation of brands from Thailand, American, Korean, UK, etc. Not only makeup it also have skincare, haircare, beauty tools and perfume. If you want to see what i bought, check out my Bangkok Beauty Haul ๐Ÿ˜‰

After we went crazy at EveandBoy we went to Beautrium. The problem with stores in Bangkok is the place is quite tricky i use map all the time. Unlike EveandBoy that located outside right on the side road, Beautrium is inside a mall called Centre Point Siam Square. We kinda walk around the mall just to find this place. Beautrium is not as big as EveandBoy and the variation of brands is not as many too. But i found some stuffs that is cheaper than EveandBoy so i guess it’s an advantage.

If you go to Siam, i think it is a must to take pictures in front of Siam Square and Siam Paragon. It’s my 2nd time in Bangkok but i am still excited to take pictures in here ๐Ÿ˜‚

Lately i’ve been obsessed with Thailand tv series called Make It Right. And this cafe appeared in some of the scenes in the series. The cafe is called Play Cafe. It is located in the 5th floor of Siam Paragon, inside the Paragon Cineplex. I was literally hypervilenting when i stepped inside the cafe. Not only because my “crush” was there but also the cafe is freaking cute! It is full of funko pop figurines! And i’ve been wanting for an Alice in Wonderland funko pop for so long so i had to get it!

Since we still full we only ordered some desserts. Can’t remember the exact name but it is a thai tea ice shaved. It was good, not too sweet but i feel like the topping does not match with the ice hahaha.

Because it is already 3:30pm we need to go Don Mueang Airport because Resty will arrived at 5pm. We took a taxi from Siam Paragon and the ride took around 1 hour because of the traffic. And so we met Resty at the airport and went back to our hotel. We were hungry because we only had our breakfast but we’re too tired to go out so we just ordered food at our hotel. We ordered 2 big pot of tom yum, a pad thai, and a stir fry shimp and baby corn.

After dinner, we went to our room. Me and Astrid could not wait to try our hair dye so we tried it right away haha. I will post the result in my Bangkok Haul ๐Ÿ˜‚

So after we took a shower, chit chat, ate snacks, prepare for tomorrow we decided to sleep because we would leave in the morning.

That was my 2nd day in Bangkok. Stay tunes for my 3rd day!
